After three days of sailing in Medemblik we've crowned seven new Dutch Champions and eight Class Champions. A total of 302 participants appeared at the starting line this weekend. The participants faced different weather conditions in which a worthy championship could be sailed.
The top sailors in each class start to appear at the top of the lists on day two of the Open Dutch Sailing Championships. There is a bit more wind compared to a day earlier, the shifts force difficult decisions for the sailors.
The first day of the Open Dutch Sailing Championships has started in nice conditions. All scheduled races have been sailed, the battle for the Dutch title is on.
The Open Dutch Sailing Championship (ODSC) is traditionally sailed in the third full weekend of September. The Regatta Center Medemblik is once again the place where the Dutch Championships are organized, this year for no less than 15 classes. New added are the Soling and the Nacra 15. With also the High Performance classes and the F18, it promises to be a spectacular event.
