The next edition of the Open Dutch Sailing Championships (ODSC) will be organized from 20 to 22 September 2019 in Medemblik. In 2018 there were 15 classes that raced for the titles, including a matchrace class.

After three days of sailing in Medemblik we've crowned seven new Dutch Champions and eight Class Champions. A total of 302 participants appeared at the starting line this weekend. The participants faced different weather conditions in which a worthy championship could be sailed.
Two totally different classes make their introduction on the combined Dutch Championships in Medemblik. The soling, a keelboat, and the Nacra 15, a catamaran. A great addition to the event, thinks Joost Brouwer from the race comittee.
Since 2002 the Open Dutch Sailing Championships are being sailed as a solution to bundle the many different Dutch Championships together. It's an initiative of the Dutch Watersport Union, Sportivents is the organiser of the event. The bundling of these championships gives a good opportunity to promote the national and international sailing in the Netherlands.
